Welcome to Bear Hugs Collective. By registering for or participating in any event, group, or private session, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Purpose of Services
Bear Hugs Collective provides body-positive, non-sexual, touch-based wellness experiences focused on emotional support, connection, and self-acceptance.
Our sessions are not medical, therapeutic, or sexual in nature, and facilitators are not licensed healthcare providers.
All activities are voluntary, and participants may withdraw at any time.
2. Consent & Conduct

Consent is mandatory. Participants must ask before initiating any physical contact and respect boundaries at all times.

Non-sexual space. While natural responses like arousal may occur, sexual activity, advances, or suggestive behavior are not permitted during workshops.

Respect & confidentiality. What is shared in the group stays in the group. Respect others’ privacy both inside and outside the session.

Cleanliness. Participants must arrive freshly showered, fragrance-free, and in good hygiene.

Substance-free environment. No alcohol, drugs, or intoxicants may be used before or during participation.
Violation of these expectations may result in removal from the session without refund.
3. Health & Safety
Participants must disclose any relevant physical or emotional conditions that may affect participation.
Bear Hugs Collective reserves the right to decline or discontinue a session if participation could pose a safety concern for any party.
If you experience discomfort (physical or emotional) at any time, you are encouraged to speak up or pause participation.
4. Registration & Payment

Registration is confirmed once both your form and payment are received.

Payments are non-refundable unless the facilitator cancels the session or event.

Missed or no-show sessions cannot be rescheduled without a new booking.
We currently accept Venmo (@bear-hugs-ri ) and may offer additional payment options upon request.
5. Cancellations & Refunds

If you need to cancel, please notify us at least 24 hours before your session to receive a 50% credit toward a future event.

Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will not receive a refund or credit.

If Bear Hugs Collective must cancel for any reason, participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
6. Privacy & Confidentiality
All personal information collected through forms or sessions is kept strictly confidential and used only for scheduling, communication, and participation.

7. Assumption of Risk
By participating in any Bear Hugs Collective activity, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily engaging in non-sexual, platonic touch and honest discussion, and you accept full responsibility for your physical and emotional well-being during and after the event.
Bear Hugs Collective and its facilitators are not liable for any injury, emotional distress, or property loss arising from participation.
8. Media Policy
No photos, videos, or recordings are allowed during any session or event without explicit consent from all participants and the facilitator.
9. Updates to Terms
Bear Hugs Collective reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with the updated effective date.
