  • Session preferences (clothed/clothing-optional, location, scheduling)

  • Payment confirmation information (but not your full financial details — payments are processed securely through Venmo or other third-party services)

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

  • Schedule and confirm your session(s)

  • Communicate session details and updates

  • Maintain participant safety and consent records

  • Notify you of future Bear Hugs Collective events (optional opt-in)

We do not share, sell, or trade your personal information with anyone.

3. Confidentiality

All personal and emotional information shared during sessions — written, verbal, or otherwise — is treated as strictly confidential.
Facilitators will not disclose any identifying or sensitive information outside of the group or private session, except where required by law (e.g., imminent risk of harm to self or others).

4. Data Storage & Security

All digital records are stored securely and access is limited to authorized facilitators.
Any paper forms or notes are kept in locked storage and destroyed after one year.

5. Third-Party Payments

Payments are processed through trusted third-party services (e.g., Venmo).
Bear Hugs Collective does not store or have access to your financial account information.
Please review the privacy policy of your chosen payment service for details on how they handle your data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you

  • Request correction or deletion of your data at any time

  • Withdraw from any mailing list or communications
